Is it really possible to raise children who do not stereotype but judge people as individuals?

First of all, Roni, let me say how proud of you I am, not only for raising 3 children, but for also trying to instill your good, honest values in them. We can only do what we do with our kids while we have them. Peer group pressure and other children, whose parents may not be as accepting and open as you are, may be doing harm to your good plans. We may eventually get to the place where more people are like you and I wish that day was here already. Just keep reinforcing your values to them whenever you get the opportunity and continue to talk to your kids the way you are now. Even though they may hear differently when away from you, they will always know, in their hearts how Mom would feel about it and that WILL influence them for the rest of their lives.
