Is there a ferry from Cabo (or La Paz) to anywhere around Ixtapa?

My wife and I are spending some time in Cabo and then need to get to Cuernavaca. We're wondering if there is a ferry to take us from La Paz to Ixtapa or anywhere around that area so that we can take a bus and get to Cuernavaca. Any ideas? Anything would help. Thanks.
