Which camera should I get?

Hi, I'm going on a cruise to the Panama C in a few months, and I need a new camera with a nice zoom. I dont want anything real big (like a DSLR). I have my choices narrowed down to the Canon Powershot SX100 IS, and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5. Both have 10X optical zoom, image stabilization, and are real nice. I'm leaning torward the Lumix because it can zoom while recording video and records in 720p. If anyone can chime in with an opinion I would appreciate it. And please, I already have my choices narrowed down, so please dont chime in with a totally different camera recommendation. Thanks everyone.
