Which color bands on a white wp horse?

my horse is all white. my uniform/costume/whatever is a black and gold wrangler rodeo shirt. alyson, my friend, told me to go with white, two years ago, but i was wondering if black wouldnt make a better contrast. i have seen white bands on dark horses, but i have never seen light horses in a contrasting color, other than dark grays, with white bands. my tack is havana-mahogany brown
