This question is not in any way meant to be offensive I am just curious. So, how come people from Asia or of Asian decent seem do have faces that are a little more (not trying to be racist) flat? The same with people of hispanic and african decent, how come they have darker skin than caucasians? It seems that all other species of animal look the same in one region but as you diversify to other regions they change, e.g. bears. In North America there are grizzlys and black bears but in the arctic the polar bears are white because of the white snow. Does the same rule apply to humans?

I'm a gymnast and I was learning how to set because I never do. Yesterday at practice my coach told me to tell her what numer she was holding up before I flipped. I rebounded out of a roundoff, paid toomuch attention looking for her and whipped my back tuck at the last minute. I had a very powerful rebound after landing it and got thrown back to the ground on my upperback which led to rolling onto my neck, it was all really fast. And he told her "I won't lie, that video touched me. But I want a new one" or something like that. So, one week later, I put together a new video telling Devon my feelings about the situation. But things got more complicated.....Ciara stopped all contact with me. Why? Because I made some mistakes and exploited too much of my issue with Devon over the internet. See, I like to vent online; it calms my anxiety. But Ciara got upset because she says I can't understand what it means to have a secret plan that is only going to work if it is a secret. I'm trying to gain Ciara's trust back and prove her that I can keep this all a secret and will never mess this up again by telling everyone what's going on with me and her and Devon. My daughter is 2 1/2 and she has been evaluated as a gifted child. They think that she may be at a kindergarten/first grade level with her academic skills, at this point (she will be further tested in preschool). The flip side to this is that when I take her to playgroups, dates, and playgrounds (which I do almost everyday) with, a bunch of kids, she is reluctant to mingle and play. She is more reclusive. If there is only one maybe two children that she knows at the event, then she will, in time, go and play. Sometimes she will sit on my lap during the time and not get involved....even hiding her face. I know that toddlers go through this at times but, this has been a consistant behavior for her. What is the best way that I can help her be more confident in her playtime?

Last september 2009 i had 2 extractions, i always get teeth pulled so no big deal right ? wrong! as the day progressed i noticed that the Novocaine was lasting a bit longer than usual in certain areas. at first i thought this is great, no pain because i'm a huge baby about pain! then the next day comes and i still can't feel my bottom lip and gum so i called the dentist and the told me it was normal and that the feeling should come back soon, i said ok and tried to go on about my day but it felt weird you know, so I called my mom, I told her the situation and she said go back the next day and in the mean time she'd call her dentist to see if this was normal, so i go to the dentist, they check me out, re looked at x rays and so forth, only to come back to me saying the same thing.....this is normal in some cases and that the feeling would come back soon, months went by, and in between i'd go back for more appointments cleanings, consults for falsies, until my mom finally got back to me and said her dentist and people she consulted with said this is no way near normal so i stopped going there and decided to look for a new dentist but in between then and now i lost my insurance or the way i was able to use it rather and now i'm just feeling less in my lower lip and gum, now who would i see to sue them, how much do i ask for, and more importantly will i ever get feeling back in my mouth???

Yes, first I have a tiger lobster that (crayfish) that I put in my piranha tank when they were really small. He did fine in there until they got bigger and then he was just hiding in the skull all day so I took him out and put him in my other tank with black mollies, odessa barbs, a swordtail, catfish and pleco. I also now have a Blue Crayfish in the same tank and so far no problems although I do see him try to grab a fish when they come to close but they are pretty fast and so far no fatalities! Both crayfish have molted too, quite interesting, seem to be growing and getting along with each other.

Clothing shirking anyone else have this problem?

s anyone else having problem with clothing shrinking in the wash? Half of Alex's 3-6 month clothing no longer fits him. Its hard to zip up and his feet are touching the bottom of his sleep in plays. They look tight. But if you look at the weight and length for the clothing he is no where near the heaviest and longest. They say 16.5 lbs ( Last week he was only 13lbs 8 oz ) and length wise its 26 inches ( he is only 24 ). This morning, my husband took the car out and while driving, the gear shift went loose. Now, the car won't shift at all. You can move the knob from first to second, but there is no defined gear. If you let the knob go, it falls into second. You cannot move up to third or any other gear. We can't feel neutral either. It is being towed to the shop, and it's under warranty but I just wanted to know what you guys thought. I basically don't want the dealer to feed us a line of crap or just do a minor fix that's going to be a huge problem in the near future.

I need help!!!!! 4-5 week old kitten URI or Felv?

I saved a kitten that was 4-5 weeks old, I was told he may have a URI, I was given Clavamox drops to give him twice a day for 7 days. He has a slight whistle/wheezing sound when he breathes. He has no crust around eyes or nose. He eats and drinks with no problem. Uses the bathroom, it all seems fine, he is on the skinny side a little bit, But isn't that to be expected on a kitten found on the street? I don't have much money, just very worried I have a 15 week old kitten also at home and want to make sure my other kitten can't get sick. Oh that is just gorgeous. I live in the southeastern U.S. and raccoons sometimes are orphaned . We had three under our one time house, three babies and we bottle fed them. Grew up playing against John McEnroe & it fueled my love for the game, and made me a very intense tennis player. I'm "only" about a 4.5 player, but I've gotten a reputation of someone who always gives it everything & never quits. Grew up in a situation where that just wasn't done. The amazing thing about John McEnroe is that unlike a lot of serve & volley players, he wasn't really overpowering. He had great footwork & great hands at the net as well as great shot placement. Now why didn't I think of that. Ejection seats are the perfect answer concerning to how to separate the pengers from the crash site. Most airliner crash sites are icky with the mangled corpses all squished into the airframe and telling one from the other takes a long time. My younger, 15 year old cousin has been promoted to the adult table for Thanksgiving but I have not?

I've been told that my younger cousin Sal is being promoted to the adult table this Thanksgiving because he's smarter and more entertaining than me. Would I like Soul Eater?

Well its a shonen pretty much, I just watched it cause I liked the animation style. Its kinda funny, some of the characters are great, other you want to kill (ahem Blackstar). The anime itself for 50 eps couldve been better meaning the parts that were great somehow still didnt make up for the lesser ones. Some of the fights are nice and I do think the plot setup is more original than people think. All in all id say this anime is quite different than most, its closest would probably be D Gray Man and even then thats a stretch, if you want something original and creative then yea, its very good, but dont go expecting a masterpiece.

my 13 yr old daughter is so heading in the wrong direction and i need some direction please. She is hanging out with kids in gangs (or so she says) and I find out after the fact. She is disrespectful of all adults, Hates her step dad (has no relationship with her birth dad), tells me she can do what she wants and i don't need to worry about it. is this YuGio? some of the cards seem familiar. its hard to tell how good a deck will be without actually playing with it a few times. but it looks like your tactic is defensive/trap. it works well against someone that relys mostly on straight attacking, and little spell help. i might suggest you add a couple cards that remove opponents trap/magic cards. harpys feather duster works pretty good when used right. also you might need a little more power on the offensive side. either get power up cards or look for a few more heavy hitters. its been too long since i played that game, so i dont have any examples. just play against a few people so you can find out your weaknesses.

Can I even call myself a vegetarian? I'm not even sure. I don't eat meat not because I think animals dying is bad, but because animal torturing in slaughter houses is bad. First of all, Roni, let me say how proud of you I am, not only for raising 3 children, but for also trying to instill your good, honest values in them. We can only do what we do with our kids while we have them. Peer group pressure and other children, whose parents may not be as accepting and open as you are, may be doing harm to your good plans. We may eventually get to the place where more people are like you and I wish that day was here already. Just keep reinforcing your values to them whenever you get the opportunity and continue to talk to your kids the way you are now. Even though they may hear differently when away from you, they will always know, in their hearts how Mom would feel about it and that WILL influence them for the rest of their lives. My partner and I have been together for just over a year. He has 2 boys from previous relationships aged 10 and 5. The 5 year old lives with us as my partner has full custody of him.
